It's Okay to Go Slow

Time is fair. Every day, we all have the same 24 hours, kids, adults, and everyone in between. Some people use their time busily and productively. They move quickly, follow schedules, and feel proud at the end of the day. Others try to keep up with the pace of those around them, living so fast that they forget how they truly feel inside.

One day, I asked myself, "What is my pace? How do I want to live each day?" There have been times when I rushed through everything, times when I compared myself to others and felt like I was falling behind. But slowly, I began to learn something important.

going slow doesn’t mean I’m wrong.

I may not be fast, and that’s okay. I’m learning to live in a way that feels authentic to me. Just like running a long race, I don’t need to rush. I can take deep breaths, stay calm, and move step by step. The direction I’m heading is more important than how fast I get there.

Now, I try to enjoy each day at my own pace. Even if I’m slow, I’m still moving forward, and that is enough.

“I may be slow, but I’m not wrong. Living at my own pace is the best way for me.”
